We love music, but we hate most music trivia. The other trivia companies out there tend to make music rounds a weekly staple worth double points, offering a point each for the song and the artist. This set-up results in the same few teams winning week after week. Boring! Not to mention, it’s a pain for the host to hook up to the sound system each week, and technical glitches are inevitable. We knew there had to be a better way that’s simpler for the host and fun for the whole crowd! Here’s one of the rounds we came up with. It doesn’t require a special audio component and allows even non-musical folks to still contribute.

Instructions: Each of the musical artists in this round is named after a food. We’ll give you a real song of theirs, plus a made-up band name that’s pretty much synonymous with their real one. Name the real musical artist.
